Energized by impact and private market investments? Join our dedicated international team in a senior role as ‘Head of Finance, Risk & Compliance’. The successful candidate, who may also be a career returner, will have strong financial expertise, risk management acumen, good communication skills, adaptability, and accountability. Responsibilities
  • Finance
    • Cash management, including capital calls and distributions at the investment and corporate level and payments, receivables management.
    • Budgeting, financial planning and supervision of accounting.
    • Financial reporting in collaboration with accountants, AIFM/administrator and financial auditor, as applicable.
    • Collaboration with external service providers, e.g. regulatory and financial auditors, outsourced services, insurance providers.
    • Monitoring and reviewing of quarterly reports issued to clients.
  • Risk & Compliance
    • Risk management and compliance at corporate level within the FINMA regulatory framework, collaborating with external deputy head Risk & Compliance, regulatory auditor and foreign AIFM business partners and service providers.
    • Preparation of data and reports in view of the annual regulatory audit in line with FINMA’s specifications.
    • Representation of the firm at the meetings of the board of managers of General Partners in Private Equity Fund structures.
    • KYC processes and risk analysis for new clients and business partners.
    • Member of the Management Board and of the Investment Committee (veto right).
Qualifications

We are looking for a strong personality who is motivated, organized and capable of working in a dynamic environment. To fit into our team, you will be passionate about sustainability and impact matters, have strong analytical skills, pay great attention to detail and be able to work independently.

More specifically, you will meet the following requirements:

  • A university degree or equivalent with at least 8-10 years relevant professional experience, of which 3-5 years ideally in a comparable position in international asset management, preferably Alternative Investments / Private Equity.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with problem-solving abilities and broad-based operational experience.
  • A constructive, diligent and well-structured approach to work and high reliability, excellent interpersonal skills and highest integrity.
  • Practical, proactive, flexible and delivery-focused team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment.
  • Excellent written and oral skills in German and English.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills are a plus.
  • Swiss/EU National or valid Swiss Work Permit.
