After the successful previous editions, the BAI will once again host a full-day workshop on Sustainable Finance & ESG on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at the Audimax of the Frankfurt School, Frankfurt.
The regulatory framework for sustainable finance (reviews of the SFDR and the Delegated Regulation to the SFDR, ESMA guidelines on ESG-related fund names, further development of the taxonomy, sustainability reporting in accordance with the CSRD and the ESRS, supply chain laws in the EU and in Germany) are given as topics. Impact investing in and with illiquid asset classes will receive a lot of attention. In addition, there will be reports from practitioners and experience reports on implementation in specific asset classes – PAI statement in accordance with the SFDR, ESG (EET) reporting, solutions for ESG data in alternative investments, etc.
The perspective of the supervisory authority will be just as important as that of institutional investors; industry standards and best practices will be presented and discussed. All program items will focus on the special concerns of alternative asset classes such as Infrastructure, Private Equity, Private Debt, Real Estate and the challenges and opportunities of ESG regulation for private markets.
